AI training per session: what UK companies pay and why

By Efim Kolodkin, Founder and CEO · Published · Reviewed · 2 min read

The short answer

UK AI training is sold per day (around £1,000 for a group), per programme (£3,500 for a half-day briefing, £12,000 for a two-day intensive), per seat for e-learning, or per session. Per-session pricing — ours is £950 for two hours — buys spaced practice on real work, which is what changes habits.

How is AI training priced in the UK?

  • Per day, per group. A full in-person day for eight or more people is advertised at around £1,049 + VAT.
  • Per programme. Around £3,500 for a half-day executive briefing; around £12,000 for a two-day department intensive.
  • Per seat. E-learning libraries at a few pounds to a few tens of pounds a user a month.
  • Per session. A fixed price for a two-hour live session, sold as a programme of several. Ours is £950.

Why price training per session?

A one-day workshop crams everything into a single day; on the next morning people return to the same work with the same habits. Sessions twice a week, with homework on each person’s own task in between, give people time to try, fail and come back with a question. That is where the change happens.

It also keeps the decision small. A company can start with six sessions (£5,700), see the before-and-after report, and decide on the next step with evidence.

How do you compare quotes like for like?

Divide any quote by the hours of live contact and by the number of people, then ask what is included after the session: recordings, a prompt library, homework review, a test at the start and the end, and a report for leadership. A cheaper day without those is often the more expensive option.

What do our sessions include?

A senior lead and a support team, recordings of every session, a library of prompts built on your tasks, homework with review, a group chat for the cohort, an entry and exit test, and a before-and-after report. Formats of 6, 8 or up to 13 sessions; see the programme.

No. Our £950 covers the session for the whole group.

Can sessions be in person?

Yes. Most run online twice a week; kick-offs and demo days often work better on site.

Prices are shown excluding VAT.

How we write these guides: figures about our own work come from before-and-after measurements on client projects (names withheld where under NDA); market figures come from the sources listed, with the date we checked them. Prices exclude VAT.
